Good-Byes and Hellos

IT’S ALMOST TIME for us four (below) to leave Texas. Joey heads to Papua New Guinea on Tuesday, June 9th, on his own and we follow soon after – June 22 from Texas and July 6 from California. Grant is staying with his Uncle Dave and Aunt Ceil in South Carolina and working at Chick-fil-A. He will return to John Brown University in Arkansas in the fall.

We would appreciate your prayers for Joey as this is his first time to travel solo and also for us as we finish up packing and cleaning and then have some last visits with people.

For those of you who live in Southern California, we would love to see or talk to you while we’re in the area!

  1. John and Brena,  Can hardly believe it is time for you to return to PNG once again.  So sorry we haven’t been able to connect with you this time around.   We will be moving tomorrow to San Marcos to stay with our daughter, Sandy and her family until we can find our own housing.  Our condo is sold with funding to happen later today.  It’s been quite the process. Jane can fill you in our saga.   So, blessings and joy as you get back into life and ministry there. Love your letters and all the pictures.   Helen
