In these last 5 weeks in Arlington, in spite of the discomfort of adjusting and settling in, there have be some good things along the way.
The highlight for Joey and Luke has been their community soccer teams. They love playing. Food (ice cream, cereal, lunch meat, chips, to name a few) has also been high on their list.
John is also enjoying all the good food available here in America and getting back into running again (2 offsetting enjoyments!).
I (Brena) am loving bagels and cream cheese for breakfast (and the fact I don’t have to make them) and our comfortable house which is so close to stores, the library, and the freeway.
And we’ve all treasured the times we’ve had with 3 sets of family members that live nearby.
God is good to give us these simple things to bless us along the way.
We value and need your prayers. Transition is never fun, but thankfully it gets better over time. Thank you for being a part of our lives.

As usual a picture is worth a thousand words. Great shots of the boys. Glad you are enjoying the gifts from God during the settling in process. He is good. Still looking forward to the possibility of seeing you in November.

Just got your paper newsletter that lead to this new blog you’re keeping! It will be great to follow along. Fun to read about everyone’s favorite foods. What do you miss (foodwise) when you’re here in the States?
