  1. Dear John and Brena,

Greatly enjoyed reading your latest newsletter just now. Sounds like the summer went great for each member of your family. Praise the Lord! And now the typesetting has begun on the Fataleka New Testament – the end of a long process is in sight, and requires more prayer coverage than ever! I’m excited for you both as you anticipate the trip to the U.S. end of October. May the Lord be in the details of all that you would like to accomplish then as well.

    Serving together, Patricia

  2. Always blessed to read of all that is happening in your lives. We have prayed for the Fataleka group for years and are so thankful to see what is happening. Praying for all your sons and for your ministry. We enjoyed the photos. Thanks for including them.

  3. Hi John & Brena,

I so enjoyed catching up on your news and seeing the photos. You did a great job on that letter! I’m just curious when your mom’s 80th birthday is, John. It would be so neat to see you guys again if it worked out for us or me to go up for a short visit. I wouldn’t want to “crash” the party though, if it is just a brief time for you all to be together. Let me know if you think there is any potential with this idea. It would be fun to see all the other Bruner family that is there for the occasion too, if it worked out.

We are making plans to go to Australia for about 5 weeks in Nov/ Dec. and plan to have Esther and her family join us there for the last few weeks so our Aussie family can meet Will and Liam. It’s so exciting, but some extra work right now as we sort out the details. We plan to celebrate Christmas in NY with Josiah and Rachelle and Will’s extended family (some of whom live in NY), and maybe go up to Maine afterwards to see Gary’s sister, nephew and his wife, who just moved there this year. Lots happening, and we continue to finish up dealing with Mom’s affairs.

    Love to you all, Robyn

  5. Great update. I can’t believe you have two in college now. Wow! Looks like God has given you, Brena, many wonderful ways to use your gifts at Ukarumpa. So happy that you’ll get to come to the States with John on his next trip and see family and friends.

    Hugs,

    Sheryl
